Climate protection and energy saving do not mean making sacrifices for us, instead they mean technological innovation. As a manufacturer of durable water treatment systems, we take a holistic approach to decarbonisation: we actively reduce CO₂ emissions at our own site and in our products, from the initial development phase right through to resource-efficient manufacturing.
Being the first EMAS-verified system manufacturer in the water treatment sector, we focus on the continuous reduction of greenhouse gases. We are committed to measurable climate protection and ensure that our specific CO₂ reduction measures, as well as our path towards greenhouse gas-neutral production, are clearly visible.
By commissioning our advanced photovoltaic system at our site, we are taking the next logical step towards climate-neutral water treatment. Through the intelligent integration of photovoltaics, battery storage and modern heat pumps, we supply our production and administrative facilities largely with our own solar power and operate our air-conditioning systems using renewable energy.
As a manufacturer of durable water treatment systems, we take a holistic approach to environmental protection: from resource-efficient development right through to low-emission site operations.
To systematically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we are focusing our efforts on two key areas: we are minimising emissions at our own site (Scope 1 and 2) and reducing the carbon footprint directly within our customers’ day-to-day operations (Scope 3):
Generating our own energy with solar panels
The large-scale PV system on the old building has been fully installed. By 2026, the site will be largely self-sufficient in energy, powered by its own solar electricity.
Off-grid capability through battery storage
A modern battery storage system has been installed. The final transfer to normal operation, with intelligent load-peaking management, will immediately follow the completion of the current construction phase.
Renewable heating and cooling
Low-emission air conditioning has been in operation in the production areas and administrative offices since the start of the year, powered by an industrial heat pump.
Climate protection through local logistics
We consistently rely on an established network of regional suppliers in Baden-Württemberg. The short transport distances minimise logistics-related CO₂ emissions.
Future-oriented e-mobility
Our company vehicle fleet has been gradually converted to hybrid and electric powered vehicles. We also encourage zero-emission travel amongst our staff by offering a bicycle leasing scheme.
Up to 50 % lower energy consumption
The standard use of highly efficient high-pressure pumps with integrated variable-frequency drive (FU) technology dynamically adjusts the output to actual demand, thereby significantly reducing your electricity consumption.
Resource efficiency through high yield
Lower fresh water consumption reduces energy consumption on the customer side. Our multi-stage concentrate reverse osmosis systems (UO KR series) achieve a permeate yield of up to 90 %.
Partners for the hydrogen economy
Our specialised ultrapure water systems provide the process water required for the production of green hydrogen, which is essential for the smooth and long-lasting operation of electrolysers.
Digital commissioning to prevent Scope 3 emissions
Whenever technologically feasible, we offer a fully digital commissioning service for our systems. By reducing unnecessary travel, we avoid CO₂ emissions even before the official commissioning takes place.
