Herco beim Trollinger Marathon 2025

Team spirit, endurance and summer weather – Herco at the Trollinger Marathon 2025

The most important sporting event in Herco’s annual calendar took place this year on 11 May 2025, as part of the 23rd Heilbronn Trollinger Marathon (“Trolli”).

As every year, a variety of routes were offered, taking runners through the picturesque winegrowing landscapes around Heilbronn – this time in summer-like temperatures and with demanding elevation profiles. A real challenge!

Our 8-member Team Hercowater successfully took part and covered an impressive total of 126.8 km together:

• 42,2 km (marathon): Andreas Pentke
• 21,1 km (half marathon): Michael Sverak
• 10 km: Walter Göhring, Andreas Fürst, Jinpeng Liu, Axel Wiechmann
• 4,5 km: Fernando Huber, Christian Krumbholz

With around 9,400 participants, the Trolli was sold out for the first time a full week before the start – a sign of the growing importance of this event as a regional athletics highlight in southern Germany. The half marathon proved especially popular, attracting around 3,600 runners.

A diverse supporting programme at the start/finish area and along the route added to the vibrant atmosphere. Herco would like to sincerely thank the organisers, volunteers and all the supporters along the course for an all-round successful event.
