Review and outlook:
How Herco started the year 2026

20 December 2025

The Christmas video at the turn of the year: A look back and ahead

The new year is already in full swing, but the topics that moved us at the turn of the year remain relevant. At the end of 2025, our Managing Director Edwin Locker addressed all employees, our partners and our customers with a personal message.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and looking ahead towards 2026

What is driving Herco at the end of the year? What topics will be the focus in 2026? In his Christmas address, our Managing Director Edwin Locker looks back on a year of successful collaboration and expresses his gratitude to everyone who supports Herco – employees, partners and customers. He talks about future topics such as PFAS removal, modular container solutions and new applications in pharmaceutical and medical technology.

What moved us in 2025 and will continue to strengthen us in 2026

In addition to the outlook presented in the video, we would like to highlight three pillars that will have an impact on the current business year:

Health as a foundation: exercise and balance

In 2025, Herco continued to focus on health. Our occupational health management programme has shown how important balance is in everyday working life. We have achieved a great deal with weekly training sessions, mobility exercises in the workplace and ergonomic advice in the warehouse and production areas. This was supplemented by check-ups and nutritional advice. We are taking these ideas with us into the new year in order to continue actively promoting well-being within the team.

Quality redefined: Our digital QM system

A milestone from the second half of 2025 is now having an impact on day-to-day business: the introduction of IMS software from ConSense. We can therefore guarantee our customers the following again this year:

  • Stable product and service quality through optimised processes
  • Reliable quality certification in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Continuous development through active CIP
  • Strengthening our quality and planning reliability for our customers

Responsibility in the region: Our Christmas donation

At the end of the year, we once again wanted to help where support is most urgently needed. Instead of distributing customer gifts, we supported two important initiatives in our region with €1,500 each, as has been our tradition since 2021:

  • The children's hospice in the Rems-Murr district, which supports families in difficult times.
  • Sternentraum 2000 e. V. in Backnang, which fulfils the heart's desires of sick children.

With this review and the new goals in mind, we are looking forward to further cooperation with you in 2026!
