Herco in Singapore: Delegation trip strengthens international cooperation
Market opportunities in a highly developed water sector
In March, Herco Wassertechnik took part in a delegation trip to Singapore. From March 24 to 28, Andreas Pentke, M. Eng., Business Development Manager Food & Beverage, participated in a programme organised by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Singapore). The trip was part of the Environmental Technologies Export Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and served as a targeted market entry programme for German companies in Singapore.
A future-oriented market with a high degree of innovation
Singapore is one of the world's most advanced regions in the field of sustainable water utilisation - a future-oriented market that offers great potential for Herco. The focus was on building networks, transferring knowledge and exchanging technical solutions in industrial water treatment. One highlight of the trip was a networking conference at which eight German companies presented their solutions. Around 100 participants from the German and Singaporean water and wastewater ecosystems came together to discuss current challenges, innovative solutions and potential for cooperation.
In Focus - ultrapure water solutions for key industries
Herco presented its customised systems for ultrapure water treatment - especially for data centres and the microelectronics industry, which are strongly represented in Singapore. In addition, successfully realised projects in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand were presented in order to share application experiences and discuss joint solution approaches. The discussions and meetings in Singapore provided valuable input for future projects.
