Staff Assembly at Herco in the New Facilities of Werk2

 

Today the staff assembly of Herco Wassertechnik GmbH took place in the new premises of Werk2.

Despite ongoing operations, all employees came together to receive first-hand information on the company’s current developments and strategic plans for the future. The focus was on Herco’s direction and current status. Key topics included concrete measures for sustainable and future-proof development.

The welding team moves in

 

Another milestone for our site expansion in Freiberg am Neckar: our welding team and other Herco staff are in the process of setting up technical infrastructure at Werk2, creating the basis for the future production of our water treatment systems.  

The new part of the building offers space for modern production processes and strengthens our capacities - for customised solutions in industry, medical technology, the pharmaceutical and food sectors and for green hydrogen.  

We are looking forward to the next steps in an expanded home - and to further driving innovation.

Start of the move to Werk2

 

First materials have been successfully moved to our new Werk2 in Freiberg am Neckar. New welding tables have been delivered, and machines and equipment have been transported from the main building to the new hall. With only 200 metres as the crow flies, the move was efficiently planned logistically - and so far, everything is running smoothly.  

Werk2 creates additional capacity for our production and emphasises our continuous growth at the Freiberg site. We are delighted about this important milestone in the company's development - and would like to thank all our colleagues who are committed to supporting this process.

Remodelling work continues: Server installed

 

The renovation and modernisation work at Werk2 is continuing as planned. The current focus is on painting work and optimising the technical infrastructure.

One important step was the modernisation of the lighting. The previous light sources were replaced with powerful LEDs, which provide better illumination and greater energy efficiency. At the same time, the IT infrastructure was expanded: the new server has been installed, the first cable is in place and the internet connection in Plant 2 is in preparation.

These measures will further improve the working environment and bring the technical equipment up to date. The next steps will follow shortly!

Herco expands its site in Freiberg am Neckar

 

Our production is growing - and therefore our need for space. To accommodate this growth, we are expanding our site in Freiberg am Neckar with a new factory building. This is not only an important step towards greater capacity, efficiency and continuity, but also a clear commitment to the region.

The heart of Herco will remain at Planckstraße 26. Just a few steps away, additional space for our production is being created in Werk2. The renovation work is in full swing - new flooring has just been laid.

This expansion will strengthen our flexibility and guarantee the highest quality for our customers in the future.
