Herco at drinktec 2025 - Innovative water technology in Munich

From 15 to 19 September 2025, Messe München was once again transformed into the centre of the international beverage and liquid food industry. Under the motto "Go with the Flow", drinktec 2025 showcased the latest technologies along the entire value chain - from production, filling and packaging to marketing, IT solutions, logistics and recycling.

With 1,117 exhibitors from 68 countries, eleven exhibition halls and more than 58,000 trade visitors, the trade fair once again offered an impressive platform for innovation and dialogue. A total of 172 new products were presented - a strong sign of the industry's dynamism.

Herco was again on site with a dedicated team: Edwin Locker, Leon Grigoleit, Andreas Pentke, Sven Fleischer and Adrian Haradinaj presented the latest solutions for water treatment in the beverage industry.

The focus was on an ultrafiltration system that can save up to 50 % water - a sustainable technology that is specially tailored to the requirements of breweries and beverage producers. The private brewery M. C. Wieninger in Teisendorf, which relies on a Herco ultrafiltration system with a maximum flow rate of 10 m³/h, provided a practical example.

The presentations by Managing Director Edwin Locker and Business Development Manager Andreas Pentke attracted particular attention, demonstrating how modern water technology contributes significantly to resource conservation and process optimisation.

The brewers of tomorrow meet the water technology of today: budding brewing experts from the breweries Wieninger, Augustiner-Bräu Wagner KG and Schneider Weisse showed great interest in the possibilities of ultrafiltration - an inspiring exchange with the next generation of the industry.

After days full of exciting discussions and encounters, things continued straight away: a film shooting at our trade fair stand captured the impressions and innovations in moving images.
